Project Description
FMV (Swedish Defence Materiel Administration) plays a crucial role in ensuring that Sweden’s defense forces have the right equipment—in times of peace, crisis, and war. To strengthen its position as an attractive employer and increase understanding of its operations, FMV wanted to create a film that conveys its vital societal mission. The goal was to inspire engineers, technicians, economists, and lawyers to become a part of FMV’s expert team.
Idea
Our vision was to create a strong, emotionally engaging, and visually powerful film that showcases FMV’s role in protecting and advancing Sweden’s defense. We wanted to highlight the precision, expertise, and innovation that drive the organization forward—all through the eyes of the people who work there. Through a narrative that connects advanced technology with real defense scenarios, we created a film that not only informs but also inspires.
Tone and Execution
Our director Robin Ehlde set a human, empathetic, and optimistic tone. By portraying employees in authentic environments—from test labs to live military exercises—the film highlighted the extensive expertise and dedication within FMV. The music enhances the film’s depth, while the visual style reinforces authenticity with a cinematic documentary feel. Our sound designer Mathias Zachrisson also composed FMV’s audio identity as part of the production.
Results
The final film has become a powerful tool for FMV’s internal and external communication. It has contributed to a greater understanding of FMV’s mission and strengthened the brand within the defense sector. Thanks to a carefully crafted production, the film has helped FMV convey a reliable message in a transparent and authentic way.
