In our work for the security company Verisure, we embarked on a journey to create films that captured the authenticity of life, portraying it almost as a documentary rather than a scripted narrative. Our aim was to provide the audience with a relatable depiction of life’s messy, lively, yet safe moments, all thanks to Verisure.
To achieve this, we opted for a handheld shooting style using high-end cameras and top-notch lenses. The lighting was kept low-key and authentic to maintain a realistic atmosphere. This approach allowed us to be agile in our filming, capturing a variety of shots and scenes to provide flexibility in editing for different formats.
One of our key considerations was to highlight the threats that Verisure protects against, such as fire, burglary, and accidents, without making them unpleasant. We wanted to create a sense of urgency for the audience while ensuring the scenes remained believable and true to life.
Ultimately, the films leave the audience with a realization of the importance of securing their most beloved possessions and loved ones in life. They underscore the message that Verisure is always there when needed, providing peace of mind and security in moments of crisis.
